I guess IвЂ™m kinda getting caught upвЂ¦that you deserve a good nightвЂ™s sleep and that for some of us or a lot of us, those of you that are listening right now, itвЂ™s not easy. I hope you find something or I hope you just understand and believe me, вЂcause other people donвЂ™t seem to believe it sometimes. Tossing, turning IвЂ™ve been through all that, and IвЂ™ve alsoвЂ¦I donвЂ™t know, I just really want youвЂ¦whether this podcast works for you or it doesnвЂ™t, you could go to /nothankyou. I guess those are the two things I know how it feels, IвЂ™ve been there tossing, turning, mind racing, trouble getting to sleep, trouble staying asleep. I know itвЂ™sвЂ¦can be exhausting and it can feel likeвЂ¦I know how it feels. Like, thatвЂ™s kinda the most important thing I can say. The most important piece of information I can give you is that you deserve a good nightвЂ™s sleep. I apologize, but I kinda do it for your benefit, so itвЂ™s something you donвЂ™t need to listen to and you could fall asleep whenever IвЂ™m talking, but IвЂ™ll give you some more info. So, what that means is thatвЂ¦yeah, so my voice is a little bit different, I get mixed up, I get distracted, I even got distracted while I was talking to you. That means IвЂ™m gonna go off-topic, IвЂ™m gonna get mixed up, IвЂ™m gonna use kinda this unique voice that I have to keep you company while you fall asleep. IвЂ™ll use lulling, soothing, creaky, dulcet tones, pointless meanders, superfluous tangents. ThatвЂ™s the first step of this safe place. But what IвЂ™ll do is IвЂ™ll send my voice across the deep, dark night. Also, I repeat myself a lot, soвЂ¦yeah, I already did. So, what I propose to doвЂ¦the main thing is IвЂ™m trying to create a safe place where you could set aside whateverвЂ™s keeping you awake. It kind of was one of the first sleep podcasts, I think, or theвЂ¦but itвЂ™s still a little bit different than most other stuff out there, вЂcause I do it a little bit differently. This show is very different than other shows. But whatever it is thatвЂ™s keeping you awake, IвЂ™m gonna try to help in my own way. A lot of listeners, they just share their story a little bit with me and they say thanks, or this is how I heard about the show or whatever. It could beвЂ¦so, it could be thoughts, it could be feelings, anything coming up for you emotionally related to those thoughts or justвЂ¦thatвЂ™s just there, it could be physical sensations, it could be changes in time or temperature or routine, it could be something situational or something coming up or something that just happened, or maybe it was something else, and if it isвЂ¦if I donвЂ™t know what it is, you could let me know.
